Data Protection Declaration


The protection of your personal data is important to us and therefore a special concern. Therefore we process your data exclusively on the basis of the legal regulations (GDPR, May 2018). On this page we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing within our website and our activities.

In connection with the registration for a journey, the participant (data subject) discloses personal data either via a contact form on the website or a direct email to us and processes it by the person responsible for the data processing. The affected/contracting party agrees that his/her personal data (name, address, e-mail address, date of birth, telephone number, body- and shoe size, body weight) will be saved by Silke Gauss for the purpose of contract fulfillment, accounting and sending information on further travel offers (newsletter).

In addition, the person concerned agrees that the data (name, address, e-mail address, date of birth, telephone number, body- and shoe size, body weight) can be transferred to third parties (hotels, hostels guesthouses, apartments, surf camps, surf schools to carry out the contract. This consent can be revoked at any time by the responsible person.


Contact us

If you contact us via the contact form on the website or by e-mail, your data will be stored for six months to process the request and in case of follow-up questions.


Message validity/cancellation deadline

The data will be stored by www.kontakt@stayandsurfericeira.com for the duration of the legal relationship with the participant and, in addition, for the fulfillment of legal, above all tax obligations according to BAO. In special cases, for example for the duration of a legal dispute, the data can also be stored for a longer period of time.


Data Processors

We use contract processors for this data processing.

We pass on your data to the following recipient categories:

  • Hotels, hostels, guesthouses, apartments, surf camps, surf schools, taxi driver (airport transport)

The forwarding of the data takes place mainly by mail or in paper form (tax advice) and in exceptional cases by WhatsApp (name/phone number for guides/surf or sports teacher).


Images

During our travels/trainings photos will be taken by surf instructors/guides, professional contracted photographers or a responsible person. The person concerned agrees with the consent when registering via the online contact form (checkbox) and the disclaimer form on the spot that these images may be used for promotional purposes by the Footmarks Travel Company E.U until further notice.

The following advertising possibilities are exhausted:

  • Social media channels (eg. Youtube, Facebook & Instagram)
  • Travel reports in online and print magazines
  • Advertising on the website www.stayandsurfericeira.com
  • Advertising on print articles like flyers & posters etc.
